Yankee Candle Haul

If you read my Nautica post you know I went on a large shopping spree for my Birthday. I went the the outlet mall that I always go to, it's the one closest to me (at least to my knowledge). While I was there I stopped in the Yankee Candle outlet.

I wanted to stop in because I heard they had some great deals going on and sure enough they did. Yankee Candle was the last store I went in, so I didn't have a whole lot of time to look around, since I had to leave soon. However I did have enough time to buy a few things.

Wanna see the goodies I got now?

The first thing I picked up was a boxed set of 3 small jar candles. The scents include golden sands, turquoise sky, and black coconut. I got a pretty good deal on these little candles. They set of 3 was originally $25.00 and I got them for only $8.75!

The next item I bought was something I have never bought before. I bought a tartlet warmer(that's what I call them). They had several to choose from, a whole wall in fact, and this is the one I picked. It was originally $12.99 and I got it for only $6.49! I left it wrapped to take the photo because i'm not ready to unwrap it yet.

The last things I bought was some tartlets and votive candles. They was all .99 cents each. I bought four Cherry Lemonade tartlets and 4 votives in Sweet Honeysuckle (2), Juicy Peach (1), and Ocean Blossom (1).

Went to Nautica...

I went on a pretty big shopping spree for my birthday and one of the stores I shopped in was Nautica. I went to the outlet mall I always go to, and on a whim decided to go in and see what they had.

I wanted to go in mainly to see if I could find some fabric flip flops, but I ended up finding something else. When I went in, it was the first thing I saw in the womens section and when I saw it I knew it had to be mine.

I decided to buy a Nautica tote. They only had one of this particular bag so I hurried and picked it up right away. I looked around for flip flops but didn't see them in the very small womens section they had, it was mostly mens clothes and other mens items. I finally found the flip flops when I was walking out the door after I made my purchase. They did have flip flops and two pairs I would have loved to have had. However it was getting late and close to time to go home, so I didn't pick them up and go buy them....wish I would have!

While I was there I saw several cute items in the womens area. I saw this really cute shirt that was stripped, had Nautica written across it and had little tiny pink boat wheels on it. The cutest part of the shirt was that it tied in the back with a nautical looking rope. I wanted that shirt as well, but didn't pick it up either and again...wish I would have!

Any way on to the tote...It was originally priced at $44.50 and I got a good discount and got it for only $23.81! They had two other styles in the this tote, they had one that was pink and white. It had a pink bottom and white background with pink anchors on it. The other was red, white and blue, I believe it was stripped and had Nautica written across it and they had a ton of those left. Wanna see some photos of the one I bought?

Vera Bradley Haul - Happy Birthday To Me!

Since it's Birthday time for me, my husband decided to get me some birthday gifts. He gave me a set amount of money to spend for this purchase and let me buy whatever I choose(I love my husband, he just hands me money and I get to buy whatever I please!). I decided to buy me some Vera Bradley items, I purchased a couple of my wishlist items, and bought me one thing I needed. Ready to see what I bought? Here we go!

The first thing I bought was one of my wishlist items. I purchased the Set of 3 cosmetic bags in Island Blooms. I had been wanting them for awhile now, so I decided it would be one of the items I bought. I want them, not so much for cosmetic purposes  but just as random pouches to carry in my handbag. I have a lot of random stuff I carry with me these days, that needs a pouch to go on, so these work perfectly for that. I decided to get Island Blooms since it's my favorite print that VB has at the moment. I already have a bag in this print and wanted some matching accessories. I got these on sale, for $29.99. The original price of these was $40.00, so I got a pretty good deal on them.

The next item I purchased was something I needed. I purchased a Carry It All Wristlet in Purple Punch. I got this because I thought it would be great for a cell phone carry case. I didn't have one and needed on badly so I got me one. I love how this wristlet has a zippered area for credit cards, money, ID and change. I also love how you can wear the wristlet two different ways. You can either wear it as a wristlet or make it into a carry pouch. I adore it so far, I've used it every day since I bought it and it's perfect for me. I carry my stylus in the zippered part. It will also be good is I decide to buy ear buds, they will fit in perfectly. I plan to use it as a cell phone only case, as well as for my cell accessories and occasionally throw in other things such as ID or money when needed. I got this item on sale as well. It was originally #42.00, I got it for $34.99.

The last item I bought was another one of my wishlist items. It's a Mandy bag is Lemon Parfait. I already have a Mandy bag and adore it, so I wanted to buy another one, and I loved this print, so I bought it. I got a great deal on this bag. It was originally $68.00 and I got it for only $34.99! Pretty good deal if you ask me!

Here is every thing all together!

Update: Switched Out Phone Cases & Picked Up A Stylus!

My husband and I went back up to the mall today to see if we could do something about my phone case, and to pick him up a carry case for his. Well he got his carry case, finally found one big enough to fit. I decided to take my cell phone case back to where I got it and the guy was very nice about it, and let me trade out my pink case for another case that would not do that. Now I admit I loved my pink case, and did hate to part with it, even if it did transfer color. The new case is a purple blue (more so a blue, depends on the way the light is) and too be honest i'm not that happy with it. The quality is fine, just not fond of the color. I had to chose form what he had left and he didn't have another girly case in sight so I ended up with this one. I like the color blue, but coastal blues and tiffiany blue, not so much a blue blue. However I am happy because this case does not color transfer and I guess it will work until I can get another more suited to my liking. While my husband and I were out I decided to stop by Wal-Mart and pick me up a Pink Stylus (at least it's pretty!). It's nothing fancy, but I love my new stylus!

My New Hot Pink Cell Phone Case From CellAxs

As most of you know I recently bought a new cell phone. When I bought my cell phone I didn't pick up a case or a protective film at that time. Yesterday while I was out at our local mall with my husband we both decided to get cases. He needed a new one and I needed one period. I also decided to pick up a protective film while we was out as well. We both ended up purchasing our cell covers and my protective film at CellAxs. My husband got one something similar to a otter box for his. I like the one he choose, it's a really nice case. He got his for around $30.00. The one I choose isn't as nice or as bulky, but I loved mine, at least for a hour. I adore the color of mine, I just got a plain hot pink one. I think the pink case on the dark phone looks pretty nice. However the quality is crap!

About a hour after getting it, I was in the car with my husband. We had our windows down and it was about 90 out. Naturally my hands was a bit clammy  since I was in the sun. I happened to look down at my hands and my hands and some of my leg was pink! The clamminess of my hands made the dye come off on me. It happened several times yesterday  even to my husband when he picked it up once, after washing his hands. I hope this color transfer things stops before I ruin any of my clothing or bags. However I have a feeling it wont. I have a feeling i'm going to end up buying me a new cover elsewhere. I paid $18.00 for mine, which may not be a whole lot of money, but considering it's just a plastic/gel case and apparently the quality is sucky, it's kind of a high price to pay for it!

As least my protective film is working out okay so far. She did at least do a good job putting it on, she cleaned it really well and I'm satisfied with my film. I just hate it my case has color transfer issues with sweat or water. It's a shame because I really liked the case. I know it's plain but I adore the color and the way it looked with the phone. Hopefully the transfer issues stop. Maybe it's just some left over dye residue or something, but I doubt it. Any way, here is some photos of my new case and my phone with it's protective film on it. Sorry about the finger prints I should have cleaned my phone before I took photos.

My New Cell Phone - Straight Talk - Samsung Galaxy Centura

I've been wanting to get a new cell phone for a little while now. My contact was recently up on my AT&T phone and I was sick of the high price and not having anything to show for it. Plus I never cared much for the phone I had, so I decided to cut ties with AT&T. My husband had purchased a Straight Talk phone, several months back and liked it. I played around with his a bit and liked it as well, so I decided to go that route. It's a lot cheaper then my $85.00 a month plan where I didn't get texting, my data plan sucked, and a didn't get many minutes for my money. So now I get unlimited text, minutes and data all for only $45.00 a month. Which is a huge increase in what I gain and I really did cut my cell phone bill in half.

I decided to go with a Samsung Galaxy Centura. I have heard good things about Galaxy phones, plus it was the one I liked the most of the ones they had available. It was the mid priced phone, at I believe it was $98.99.

I haven't had much of a chance to play with it yet, however the little bit I have got to do with it, I love it! I haven't even had it 24 hours yet, I spent most of the time I've had it so far, setting it up.  It's a whole lot nicer then my old phone was, and i'm super happy with it so far. I still need to get a case for it, a carry case, and some protective films for it. (sorry about the finger prints, I haven't put it down much since I got it.)

This is my old phone, it was a HTC Surround. I hated this phone! The only thing that was cool about it, was that it had a slide out speaker on the bottom. Other then that, I never cared for it, didn't like the windows phone. I never could do much with it because of my plan. I just never took to this phone like I have with others in the past. I'm glad to be getting rid of it, and even happier to be rid of AT&T!

Wal-Mart Haul...Yeah You Read That Right!

I'm going to do something that I have never done on Glamorous Addiction, a Wal-Mart haul. I'm never in Wal-Mart much anymore these days. I have a better, nicer, grocery store closer to home, so I don't buy groceries there. I go in from time to time for odds and ends that are not super important that I feel I can get a good price for there, but that's where it ends. Yesterday I had specific purpose for being at Wal-Mart, and while I was there I picked up a few extra things.

The main reason I went was to pick up a new cellphone. I'm going to do a whole separate post for my new phone. So I'm not going to reveal too much information on it. I also picked up a phone card to go with it (which isn't pictured).

While I was there I decided to look around for me some more silicone cases. I have two coin purses I picked up from the dollar store and I love them. I know they are pretty popular now, so I thought Wal-Mart may have some cheap ones. I was right, only had one style but they did have some. I bought neon orange and neon pink. They also had neon green, neon purple, and a bright blue. They are pencil cases, but you can use them for anything. I found mine around the school supplies, if you are interested in picking some up, you can find them there.

While I was looking around I decided I needed up pick up a small travel mirror to keep in my purse. I had needed one earlier in the day and didn't have one, so Wal-Mart was the perfect place to look for one. I went to the hair section thinking I may find one there, since I didn't see one around the makeup. Well while I was in the hair section I didn't find a mirror but I did find me a new travel brush and some new hair ties. I have a travel brush but mine kind of sucks, so I decided to get a better one for my purse, and of course it's neon orange. I also saw the hair ties and since i'm in a none state of mind, I picked them up. I can always use new hair ties!

I finally found my travel mirror in the travel items section. It's nothing special just a little blue compact mirror.

From there I decided to go to the odds and ends section around the handbags. I thought I may find a cute cheap key chain to turn into a purse charm (which I didn't). While I was there I found a fake pearl necklace and decided to pick one up. I've never owned or wore pearls and i'm been curious as to of how I may like them. I didn't want to spend a couple of hundred to test them, so I thought a cheap fake pair may give me a idea how i'll like them, so I bought me a pair. These may be one of those things I buy and never use, but at least I didn't spend out a few hundred.

In that section they had socks near by, and I saw neon socks. Well those got picked up as soon as I saw them! (sorry the photo on the bottom got washed out).

The last thing I picked up was a book. I decided to browse the book section to see what I could find. Well I saw this book, and it had been on my to read list for awhile, so i picked it up. I got a pretty good deal on it too, only $12.00! Normally they are much higher at BAM! Any ways the books I got was Walking Disaster by Jamie McGuire. I read Beautiful Disaster several months back, as far back as this past Winter. Ever since then I've been waiting for the second book and been meaning to pick it up since it came out in May I believe it was. I never did get around to picking it up, until yesterday.

What's In My Bag - August 2013 - Vera Bradley Mandy in Island Blooms

The bag that i'm carrying this month hasn't changed all summer. I've carried it since I bought it. For those of you who are not familiar with it, my bag is by Vera Bradley. It's the Mandy bag in the print Island Blooms. For those of you who read my blog regularly, the bag isn't anything new to you. While my bag has not changed much this summer, what is inside it has changed. So if you are curious what i'm not carrying day to day inside my bag, check out the new photos!

I bought be another silicon change purse, from the dollar tree. I saw a hot pink one and picked it up a week or two ago. If you are interested in one I think all of the dollar tree stores have them. I've seen them in several different dollar store locations. They come in yellow, blue, pink and a few other colors. I think i may pick up the other colors as well. I like them, mainly because you can clean them with soap and water and the dirt from the change don't ruin them.

I've also got my Coach key chain in my bag. I need to get me a new everyday one, mine is getting old. The metallic gold color is wearing off mine, but overall it's in good shape, you can just see the brown leather under the gold now. And the metal part is beginning to look a little old, like some sort of coating is coming off.

Other then that, just have a basic pen and a basic usb.

My change.

I keep hair bands, clips and a travel hair brush in my bag. I keep them wrapped in plastic baggies so they stay good and clean. I gotta get some more Vera Bradley pouches for them.

I also recently bought be a new hot pink notebook for my bag. I like keeping one in my bag, i'm all the time having to write down numbers or information so i like to keep one handy.

I also have my Coach Ocelot Business Card case i turned into a small wallet and my hallmark calendar.

I also have my Vera Bradley large makeup case in the pattern Call Me Coral in my bag.

Since i'm often around someone who deals with Low Blood Sugar a lot, I decided to make up a care kit for that person. I decided to keep pixie stix, and snickers in my bag for them, when they are having low blood sugar issues, I start handing over candy. It's convenient, and easier then having to stop and buy candy or something else.

My Coach Umbrella

Finally everything all together.
