ELF Studio Bronzer Review

Purchase Place: ELFCosmetics.com
Price I Paid: $3.00 each
Grade: A

left to right: ELF Studio Golden Bronzer, ELF Studio Warm Bronzer

These are a product I had to have when i saw them on elfcosmetics.com I absolutely love bronzers and have a ton of them, of all the bronzers I own these two are my favorites. When it comes to bronzer I like a light bronzer that's not muddy and gives a subtle color enhancement, and i also love for my bronzers to have a nice highlight shimmer. These two bronzers deliver on that especially the golden bronzer which of the two is my favorite and my go to everyday summertime bronzer. The Golden Bronzer is perfect for me and my needs, really can't say enough about it. It's perfect for lighter skinned people as well as those just wanting a hint of color and shimmer. It not only a bronzer but  it makes a nice summer glow as well, it gives me just enough of a healthy shimmery glow when I use it. I apply with the ELF studio Kabuki (does not come with the bronzer, must purchase separately) and it it's perfection. The Warm Studio Bronzer is also of my favorite but I generally only use this when I'm really tan, or sun burnt, or just on days i want more of a darker color pronounced color. I've been using both of these heavily now for two months and don't have anything bad to say. I only need a little product to get the desired effect I want, so even with me heavily using them for two months i have not put a dent in the product, I still have a ton left. They are not powdery, they do not cause any skin irritation, and as you can see they come in a nice professional looking sleek black casewith a big mirror (kind of similar to NARS). ELF also has a third studio bronzer in "cool" which I do not own but I have heard it is matte, and tends to be much darker. I've considered getting the cool bronzer but seeing as how I'm a shimmer lover, matte just don't get it for me. However if you are looking for a matte, dark bronzer I would suggest trying to studio cool bronzer and seeing how you like it. When I do finally run out of these I will be purchasing these again for sure, I'm very pleased with this product and if you are anything like me when it comes to a bronzer I highly recommend buying these and trying them for yourself.

ELF Plumping Lip Glaze

I bought these mainly just to try them out because i was curious. Oasis is the top color which is kind of a shimmery rose pinkish color, and fuchsia which is a hot sparkling pink is on the bottom. I must say the colors are very beautiful, and i do like using the colored gloss side, which to me smells a little like berries. However the lip plumper, i can not bring myself to use, the smell makes me sick. To me the plumping gloss smells exactly like vicks save, which if you have never used vicks it's really menthol and it's stuff you are supposed to put on your chest when you have a cold and breathe it in to open up your sinuses. I never could stand the smell of vicks and i sure can not stand the smell of the plumping side of this gloss so I have never used it to know if it actually plumps your lips, however if you have a cold and want to use this pumping side as a gloss i guess the bonus part is it might help your sinuses out lol The size of each end of the gloss is a little over a inch, the whole product is 4 inches maybe a little smaller. To me it was worth the dollar because as i said i do love the colored gloss end and do use it a lot, even though i don't use the plumper i do plan to buy more of these simply just to use the colored sides. Other than the bad smell of the plumper i don't really have anything bad to say about the product. If you want to try one of these for yourself it's only a $1 and you can buy at eyeslipsface.com or any place that sells elf cosmetics such as Kmart.

Left to right: Plum Passion, Boldly Bronzed, Grassy Green, Precious Pink, Funmetal, Twinkle Teal, Blissful Blush, Black Bandit

When i saw these i HAD to have them, so i bought all of them, with the exception of Iconic Ivory because it was out of stock at the time. These was one of the products i was looking forward to trying the most in my first ELF haul. Well let me tell you the excitement was short lived, after i tired them i was less than thrilled. While the colors are very pretty, they are more metallic than shimmery. Also these do fade after wearing them awhile so touchups are necessary. If you sweat or your eyes water these do travel and when they get in your eyes they sting like fire, they also irritated my eyes very badly. I do not recommend them unless you plan on using them for something other than eye makeup. If you do buy these just a heads up, since they have a sharpener in the caps watch out when putting the cap on because sometimes they can sharpen a bit when putting the cap on and cause a rough place that could hurt your eye.
